1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the GPTMaya website or buying our services you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers and others who use our services.

To buy from us you must be 18 or older.

2. Who we are

GPTMaya is a brand operated by Skool Digital Academy, a sole proprietorship, SSM registration no. 202603233844 (003885491-H), with its business address at No. 10, Lipat Kajang, 77000 Jasin, Melaka, Malaysia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Skool Digital Academy.

3. Our services

We offer:

• All-Access: a monthly subscription that gives you access to the research apps in our library;
• AI Training: hands-on workshops for faculties and institutions, arranged by proposal;
• 1-1 Coaching: one-to-one coaching for a thesis, manuscript, grant or book, arranged by enquiry.

What each service includes is described on its page on this website. Apps in the All-Access library may be run by other providers. Where they are, those providers' own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

We label apps that are not yet available as being confirmed or in development. We may change or withdraw a service.

4. Your access and responsibilities

Access we set up for you is for your use only. Keep any login details confidential, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your access. Give us accurate and complete information when you contact us or buy from us.

5. Prices, payment and subscriptions

Prices are shown in Malaysian ringgit (MYR). The price shown when you pay is the price you pay. Payment is required before we activate paid access.

All-Access costs RM49 per month. The subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.

Training and coaching are quoted individually. We agree the scope, format, date and fee with you in writing before they begin.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Cancelling a subscription and asking for a refund are different things. Our Refund Policy explains both and forms part of these terms. In summary:

• All-Access: you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. A subscription that was never activated may be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Once the apps have been used, the current billing period is not refundable.
• Workshops and coaching: a full refund or a free reschedule is available if you cancel at least 48 hours before the session. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refundable.

7. Intellectual property

All content we provide, including text, training materials, logos and the design of the website, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission. The apps in the library, and their content, belong to their operators.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

• break any law or regulation;
• share your login details or your access with others;
• record, download or redistribute training materials without authorisation;
• use AI tools for unlawful, harmful or unethical purposes;
• disrupt or compromise the security of our platform or anyone else's;
• give false or misleading information;
• commit academic dishonesty or plagiarism.

9. AI tools and academic integrity

GPTMaya provides AI tools and training intended to improve research productivity and academic skills. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check important information yourself.

You are responsible for making sure that your use of AI tools follows your institution's academic-integrity policies. We do not encourage or endorse using AI tools to produce work that is presented as entirely human-written where that would be academic misconduct.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the website and our services available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Apps may be updated, suspended or withdrawn, including by their operators. Launch dates for apps in development are not guaranteed.

11. Limitation of liability

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of data, revenue or academic outcomes.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

12. Third-party services

Our website links to, and our services may rely on, third-party services such as our payment provider, the operators of the apps and other websites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will post the updated terms on this page with their effective date. Your continued use of our services after the changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
